Ifugao PAFC meeting of the minds. Officers of the Provincial Agricultural and Fishery Council (PAFC) of Ifugao convened a special meeting last April 25 at the Bahawit Nursery in Lagawe, Ifugao. Mr. Raymundo Bahatan, Provincial Agriculturist of Ifugao, presided over the meeting in place of PAFC Chairman Mr. Jimmy Lingayo who had another appointment to attend to. NAFC Coordinator to the Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR) Ms. Laurence Macaraeg was also present. The group discussed, among others, the thrusts and direction of the Agricultural and Fishery Councils (AFCs) for 2012-2017; the upcoming AFC election and 25th anniversary celebration; concerns about the destructive presence of garden eels in the fields and rice terraces; and, issues about the AKBay and LEAD programs and the Bagsakan Food Terminals.
